The company is headquartered in Neuchatel, Switzerland and founded in 2001 as spin-off from the famous CSEM institute , ones of Europe leading research center. POSIC is "solution provider" for position sensing and motion control applications. The basis is formed on basis of MicroCoil Inductive Sensor technology consisting of the integration of complete inductive sensor system on silicon chip. Beside the complete sensor chip, POSIC offers also interpolation electronics, various communication interfaces options, as well as various types of target wheels and target strips for various applications.
